This book has SO much useful information and guidance for recent grads and anyone who wants to join the entertainment industry. This is geared towards people who specifically want to get started in post production, but there's also a lot of valuable advice for those who are trying to get into the entertainment industry in general.

Entertainment jobs have very unique expectations, so while general guides for resume-building, interviewing, and first days on the job may be helpful for other industries, they don't always translate well for those wanting to work on a production or at a studio. This guide does a really fantastic job of explaining what to expect when applying to entertainment jobs in particular, including where to (and where not to) look for a job, how to stand out in resumes/cover letters/interviews, what your colleagues will expect from you, and more. There's both general and very specific information about starting work as a Post PA (seriously, KNOW HOW TO MAKE COFFEE!!) and tips that will help you impress your colleagues, learn from your mistakes, and move forward in your career.
